Tiki Dress
Jacquard. Cracked earth. Draped to the body.
This dress started with the cracked earth of the Australian bush floor, patterns that reminded me of traditional batik dyeing. I translated that texture into jacquard using grey Tencel yarns that catch silver in the light. Drawing on the fluid drape of a sari. With two long panels, you can wrap, knot, or pin it however you like. It’s a piece that is designed to be worn your way.
Material:
55% TENCEL LYCOCELL 45% NAIA RENEW (CARBON NEUTRAL) ACETATE
